The day of a Monkey appointment seems like a perfect day to update.
First, I'm doing great! I've not gained any weight and my blood pressure was great today apparently pregnancy agrees with me.
The appointment itself was a tummy check and for the first time I was able to hear spawn's heartbeat. It was a perfect 150. =) Hearing that little heartbeat brought tears to my eyes.
I was able to ask some questions today and the biggest thing I can share is because I have a diagnosis off chronic hypertension Monkey will be here no later than a day or two past my due date. It is to early at this point to know if my bp will cause issues down the road but there is a chance I'll be induced early. For now I've been told that baby will be here around the 19th of December. So Monkey's first Christmas will be Christmas 2012.
